The projection represents a growth of 30% in just 5 years , and takes into account this year's increase, which is already significant. According to the report, in gaming-oriented PC units alone, 2021 should see an increase of almost 1 million in total sales volume, going to 17.5 million units distributed.

But PC gaming is dead.

PC gaming will carry on growing to be honest. More and more people I speak to are moving from console to PC mainly to leave the functional limitations of the console.

Not only that, but I can actually get new hardware (even with the shortages) easier than my wife who's a console gamer. We got her an xbox at release, but STILL haven't managed a ps5.(I refuse to pay scalper rates!)
