Got my 3080ti. Installed the driver. Started folding, or did I?

For some reason, this screenshot reminds me of @Avacado

Updating the client now to see if that helps, and then going to try other drivers.

That is usually driver related. Though, Stanford may not have caught up to it, I mean it just came out and bat s*** crazy people are already trying to fold on it. Is it seen in GPU-z?

I can't tell you how many headaches I have had trying to get multiple drivers (GeForce/Tesla) working on the same system.

Looks like it's on nVidia for changing id's from the looks of it.

how on earth did you manage to get a 3080 ti?

Hard work. Dedication. I'm EVGA Elite, and I refreshed auto notify pages for an hour and 20 minutes or so until I got in the notify queue. Bought it yesterday, overnight ship, here and installed today.

So, here's the resolve. I'll test in a few.

Refresh

Thanks. Might need an OC.. :classic_biggrin:

The 13446 units are not really power hungry, so the temps might climb a little. Looks good though, and maybe even better after a new driver or 2!

Hey, 1 other oddity, this thing only has 2 8 pin plugs and my 3080 has 3.

That's weird, maybe it has to do with the fact it's an XC3 and not an FTW3.

And triple post... :classic_laugh:

The clocks on the 3080 and 3080ti all match now. However, 3080ti is on PCI E 3.0.

@Bastiaan_NLand everyone who cares. I moved the bench to the old pc that was on 3.0, and then moved the 3080ti to the 4.0 rig. Take a look at hfm now, and don't forget to refresh the page.

If I could have gotten the 3080ti at the time I bought my 3090's (6 months ago) it would have been an easy choice to go with the 3080ti. But there was no 3080ti at that time, and I'm glad I bought these
