AMD's FidelityFX Super Resolution Tech is coming to Xbox Series X/S

AMD's FidelityFX Super Resolution technology is coming to Xbox consoles, delivering AMD's performance-boosting upscaling technology to console gamers.

This is a critical win for AMD, adding to AMD's success when bringing its other FidelityFX technology to Xbox in partnership with Microsoft. Bringing these optimisations to Xbox will add AMD's technology to many future PC games, and adding FidelityFX Super Resolution onto this list of features should only help AMD in the long run.

...since I play both on the red and green team, I look forward to FidelityFX to compete with DLSS - for the best of both worlds ? . There might also be a '3rd' approach (per Epic / Unreal 5) as discussed here by Steve from GN:

I am hoping FidelityFX can just help push innovation and keep Nvidia on their toes to continue improving DLSS. DLSS 2.0 to be honest is fairly darn good as it is. DLSS 3.0 hopefully will bring a competitive edge now there is competition from AMD.
