Said to offer a 15c improvment. Sadly only way to contact them is via FB atm, so not sure how sketchy they are. 

 

Block is 2,750 baht or $83.27USD

If that block can get 15c I'm just imagining what Optimus Sig2 would get if there was a direct die mount.

 

Am going to get on Rockitcool's case to make one ASAP. 

 

My main issue with this block is you either have to reglue the coldplate back to the CPU ala the IHS or let the MB's ILM hold it it in place. I'd much rather just use a dedicated mount like I had for my Z390

As someone who's never messed with this sort of stuff myself, what extra benefits would you get out of a dedicated mounting system?

Could use any water block or cooler you wanted. It basically raises the area around the CPU to be level so any cooler can now be used.

 

This is for 9th gen but same principal
