Glad we have one up and running though, thank you lads.

Just a heads up, your server invite link is a little broken. It should just be this:

https://discord.gg/mdXnqDs

Edit: How do you remove an embedded link from a post? If I leave it blank and try to save my post changes, it just says I need a valid link and I can't save my edit otherwise.

Thanks, though I used the same link. For some reason random percentage signs got popped into my link, no idea. As to removing an embedded link, click on edit on your post, and just below the editor you will see the embedded link, you can click on ''Remove Link'' to get rid of it.

That's the issue I was having. Either when I hit that button or manually clear the field for a link, the field is still there, and since it's there and it's empty, I can't save the post.

I see what you mean. I can see you cannot disable the link insertion feature by clicking on it as it just remains enabled and as such to save the post it forces you to insert a link, or cancel the edit. I have added it to the list to look into it. Thanks for letting me know !

@Supercrumpet

So I have spoken with VB regarding the inability to remove the content link from a post. Essentially, when you click on the content link button to insert a link and submit, it locks that post into that content type mode and you cannot revert it. It is not a bug but simply the way the software was designed. There is a feature request to make it so that you can change the content type later on but not sure when..or if that will ever come to fruition.

  • Thanks 1

Interesting, thanks for the info and explanation. I'll keep that in mind.
